2024 ENRS Suzanne Feetham Nurse Scientist Family Research Award
Brigitte S. Cypress, EdD, RN, CCRN | Rutgers School of Nursing, Camden
Dr. Brigitte Cypress is a critical care nurse, phenomenologist, and Associate Professor at Rutgers School of Nursing Camden. Her area of research is family-centered care using qualitative and quantitative methodology with a clinical focus on patient-family­nurse lived experiences, advocating for the creation of interventions and policies aimed at reducing the barriers to family engagement in care.

2024 ENRS Rising Star Research Award
Brittney van de Water, PhD, RN, CPNP-PC | Boston College William F Connell School of Nursing
Brittney van de Water, PhD, RN, CPNP-PC is an assistant professor at the Connell School of Nursing at Boston College and is a global health delivery researcher. Her research focuses on optimizing implementation of TB and TB/HIV interventions in low-resource settings and uptake of evidence-based strategies. Her work centers on developing comprehensive TB care, leveraging routinely available data and cascade indicates to improve outcomes for high-risk populations and building nursing and midwifery capacity in sub-Saharan Africa.

2024 ENRS/Nursing Research Authorship Award
Suzanne Crincoli, PhD, RN | Rutgers School of Nursing
I am an RBHS Instructor in the Division of Entry to Baccalaureate Nursing at Rutgers School of Nursing. My experience includes hospital and corporate healthcare administration and a clinical career in emergency nursing spanning nearly two decades. Previously, I served as the Vice President of Clinical Quality for a large healthcare organization focused on creating nursing efficiency models to advance nursing practice. As a nurse scientist, my research focuses on understanding the effect of acute and chronic fatigue on healthcare providers and shift workers, as well as factors influencing differential organizational support for nursing practice within acute care hospitals affecting nurse and patient safety.

2024 ENRS/Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science Dissertation Award
Na Ouyang, PhD candidate, MSN, RN | Yale School of Nursing
Na Ouyang, MSN, RN,is a PhD candidate at Yale School of Nursing. Her research interests focus on palliative care in pediatric oncology, specifically how communication between parents and healthcare providers influences parental bereavement outcomes after losing a child to cancer.

2024 ENRS Distinguished Contributions to Nursing Research Award
Ruth Masterson Creber, PhD, MSc, RN, FAHA, FHFSA | Columbia University School of Nursing
Ruth Masterson Creber, PhD, RN, FAAN, is the Mary Crawford Professor of Nursing at Columbia University, with a focus on health informatics and the development of interventions to improve outcomes for patients with advanced cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, she is deeply invested in bioethics, focusing on fostering trust within healthcare research.
