Health Services Research RIG

Mission

The mission of the Health Services Research (HSR) Interest Group is to translate and disseminate current HSR evidence while connecting nursing scholars both regionally and nationally.  This RIG aims to provide a forum for members to learn about current health services policy, practice, and advanced research methodologies, and provide opportunities for early and mid-career scholars to build on their abilities to conduct HSR.

Who Should Join?

All ENRS members who have an interest in health services research and health care policy are welcome.  Individuals with an interest in health care delivery, workforce trends, healthcare policy, and the formation of a national nursing health services research agenda are encouraged to join.

Nursing HSR Agenda for the 2020s: Updates and Contributions

We want to know how the work of our HSR RIG members aligns with the "Nursing Health Services Research Agenda for the 2020s" and begin to create an inventory of how nursing is addressing the key challenges facing health care delivery over the next decade. You can read the full report here.

Please let us know about any publications, presentations, and/or grants since 2020 that address one of the Report's five key challenges - behavioral health, primary care, maternal health, aging, and cost, spending, and value. You can submit your information here.
