Nursing Research Authorship Award

Kristen Sethares, PhD, RN, CNE, FAHA, FHFSA
The ENRS/Nursing Research Authorship Award recognizes an ENRS member who disseminated research findings, or important theoretical, or methodological advances in the official ENRS Journal, Nursing Research, within the previous year (2023).
Rising Star Research Award

Lacey Heinsberg, PhD, RN
The Rising Star Research Award recognizes a Junior Investigator that has shown promise in establishing a program of health and/or nursing research.
Evidence-Based Practice Award

Lindsey Hodges and the 6th floor Collaborative Care Council
The ENRS Evidence-Based Practice Award is given to an individual or group using research-based evidence to make a practice change that results in demonstrated improvement in outcomes for the patient and family, staff, community or organization.
Distinguished Contribution to Nursing Research Award

Margaret Barton-Burke, PhD, RN, FAAN
The Distinguished Contributions to Nursing Research Award is given annually in recognition of sustained and outstanding contributions to nursing research by a Senior Investigator.
Suzanne Feetham Nurse Scientist Family Research Award

Lauren Covington, PhD, RN
The Suzanne Feetham Nurse Scientist Family Research Award is given annually in recognition of outstanding contributions by a Junior Investigator (earned doctorate in last 7 years with a developing program of family research and scholarship) OR Senior investigator (has a well-established program of family research and scholarship).
ENRS/Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science (CANS) Dissertation Award

Mireille Chehade, MSN, RN, AGCNS-BC
The ENRS/Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science Dissertation Award is given annually to a doctoral candidate enrolled in a program of nursing that awards a research doctoral degree requiring a dissertation.
New for 2025: Excellence in Social Justice & Health Equity Award

Margaret Quinn-Rosenzweig, PhD, FNP-BC, AOCNP, FAAN
The purpose of the Excellence in Social Justice & Health Equity Award is to recognize the contribution of a member within the ENRS community who has demonstrated outstanding commitment and made significant contributions to advance equitable health outcomes and reduce health disparities through research initiatives, which have enhanced the science and practice of nursing.
