The Eastern Nursing Research Society is pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the Executive Board and Committee open positions for the upcoming 2023-2024 term year. All nominees must be active Regular Members in good standing with the Society. Regular Members are licensed registered nurses and/or professionals in roles that support nursing research residing and and/or working in the ENRS Region.

We are seeking nominations for the following positions:

Executive Board:

• President-Elect
• Member-at-Large (Communications)
• Member-at-Large (RIGs) 

Standing Committees:

• Awards Committee - Two (2) Members
  Responsible for soliciting and reviewing nominations and applications for all awards offered by the Society. The Committee is also responsible for reviewing poster and paper presentations by students at the Annual Scientific Sessions and administering awards.  

• Communications Committee - One (1) Member
  Responsible for providing guidance for overall marketing strategy of the Society. Promote and aid in the development of ENRS external communication strategies and vehicles.

• Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility - One (1) Member
  Responsible for providing guidance for overall Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility strategy for the Society and Committees. 

• Membership Committee - Three (3) Members
  Responsible for promoting membership in ENRS, assessing the needs of the membership annually, encouraging a network of peer support and developing and implementing a plan to increase the visibility of ENRS.

• Nominating Committee - One (1) Member
  Responsible for facilitating the nominating procedure for Board and Committee positions; screening applicants to be placed in nomination, presenting a slate of multiple candidates for each open position (when viable) to the membership for voting and review, maintaining and updating committee policies and procedures to facilitate the elections process.

• Organizational Development Committee - Two (2) Members
  Responsible for identifying and soliciting funding sources for the Society; assisting with fundraising related to the annual Scientific Sessions and other Board initiatives; and identifying partnership opportunities.

Candidates can only run for one position per election cycle and can choose three positions of interest to be considered for.
